Cloud Operations Engineer

As part of our Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Sovereign Cloud regional operations run in a harmonized, secure, and scalable manner. In this role, you'll work with security-hardened SAP cloud solutions such as SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba, and more. This is your chance to contribute in a meaningful, high-impact role that safeguards digital sovereignty while driving innovation. As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll: Support Global Solution Experts in defining operating standards for the SAP Sovereign Cloud solutions. Collaborate across global and regional teams to break silos, enhance communication, and align on best practices. Contribute to process improvement & standardization by helping refine Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Knowledge Base content. Drive scalability and harmonization by ensuring consistent deployment practices across regions. Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) processes such as service request, incident, problem, change management, and release operations What you bring: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role and a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. A strong analytical mindset, team-player spirit, and a proactive, results-driven approach. Comfortable working in a globally distributed team and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. A solid understanding of enterprise software applications and IT/Cloud operations. Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset. A high degree of service focus, customer orientation, and operational excellence. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
