-JOB SUMMARY-
The Shipper will be a member of a team with the responsibility to maintain efficient flow of material through the packing funtion to support customer requirements. Experience with UPS and FedEx parcel shipping is desirable.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure correct product, pack and label per Colson and customer requirements. Operate all packing equipment and identify problems and report as needed. Perform all transactions in Epicor to ensure inventory accuracy. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Physical Requirements
Required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day. Workers are required to lift packages up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending or stooping. -SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE-
High School diploma/GED required. An associates' degree is preferred. Experience
Previously trained or able to be trained in the operation of material handling equipment (Forklift) Knowledge and ability to use ERP systems such as Epicor. Work with other departments and leads to achieve goals. Skills
Maintain quality service on all transactions and follow organizational standards. Understand the importance of accurate inventory transactions. Follow written and verbal instructions. Operate material packing equipment. Knowledge of basic mathematical skills. Good work ethic. Schedule:
7 am - 5:30 pm M-Th (4 day work week) Requirements
