As Event Manager you will be responsible for event execution between the hotel and the customer during the meeting or event. Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidates will possess the following: Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year Hospitality or Event planning Experience It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc) Significant experience in revenue management or a similar analytical role The hourly rate for this role is $33.00 - $35.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards: Provide direction and supervision to affected departments and team members during the execution of meeting and/or event. Directly serve on site group and catering customers in a proactive manner. To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals. Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person. Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes. Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts. Selling and influencing both internal and external clients. Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution. Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.
