Job Summary OK Grocery, a Giant Eagle warehouse, operates both grocery and perishable buildings. The grocery building is ambient temperature, while the perishable building is maintained at 36 degrees year-round. Our facility plays a vital role in selecting and distributing products to 76 company store locations. Job Description As a Warehouse Product Selector, you will be crucial for the safe, accurate, and efficient selection of damage-free products. Job Requirements Experience Required: 0 to 6 months Experience Desired: Electric pallet jack experience is a plus Education Desired: No High School diploma needed Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old Job Responsibilities Ability to count accurately. Select products using a voice-activated warehouse management system by matching slot numbers and product descriptions. Lift and carry cases weighing up to 100 lbs. from various heights, including floor level, shoulder level, and overhead. Meet established productivity standards consistently. Build sturdy, balanced pallet loads for damage-free shipping. Shrink-wrap and stage completed pallets in correct shipping lanes. Communicate with supervisors about safety and any operational issues. Be flexible with scheduling and availability to meet production needs. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, including safe equipment operation. Adhere to food safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned within the warehouse environment.
