A systems administrator will make an impact by: Seeking a highly skilled and proactive Systems Administrator with proven experience in supporting enterprise web applications and software development teams. Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of Linux/Unix and a firm understanding of cloud technologies. Having on the job experience upgrading, monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing both on-premise and cloud technologies. What you'll need to succeed: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience: 8+ years. Technical skills required: Experience with Cognos, support and troubleshoot web applications, demonstrated experience and support for applications hosted in an AWS cloud environment, upgrade and maintain operating systems and application software on LINUX and Microsoft Windows platforms, perform software installations, daily monitoring of the network, servers, cloud and applications, track and manage system certificates, privileged accounts, and database passwords, create and update documentation, support for system and data security requirements. Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph. Preferred Skills: Experience with building AWS infrastructure or migrating private on-premise solutions to cloud hosting environments, firm Relational Database understanding, working knowledge of CloudFormation and Lambda, experience with scripting languages, experience with SysOPs/DevOps, ability to perform cloud performance analysis and optimize distributed cloud systems.
