A growing warehouse operation is seeking a skilled Warehouse Receiver to join the team. The Receiver will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments while ensuring all materials meet required quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Perform detailed inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet quality and specification standards. Document and report inspection results, discrepancies, or quality issues to supervisors or quality control staff. Enter received materials accurately into the inventory system. Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to resolve discrepancies and support smooth operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in warehouse receiving or inspection preferred. Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges (required). Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Basic computer/data entry skills for inventory systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
