JOB SUMMARY : The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation across all assigned areas of the facility. This role ensures that the buildings and grounds are well-kept, orderly, and properly maintained in accordance with organizational standards. This position play a key role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work to maintain a clean work environment for internal and external customers, including all on-site Wilson Logistics and related facilities. Laundry services. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors. Restock restroom supplies. Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop all floors. Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins and replace liners. Dust and clean windows, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Use cleaning products on common surfaces and areas. Restock cleaning supplies. Monitor and report any maintenance issues such as lighting, plumbing, or HVAC problems. Perform basic maintenance and repairs tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains). Adhere to health and safety policies, including proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals. Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisor of any needed repairs or replacements. WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently exposed to cleaning chemicals, noise and varying temperatures. May require personal protective equipment (PPE). Work may involved bending, lifting, and extended periods of walking and standing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Associate is frequently required to use various cleaning products and equipment. Associate must occasionally climb a ladder, sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, crawl, bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, flex, extend, rotate neck and wrists, rotate forearms, reach vertically and horizontally, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to use hands together and separately at all levels from ankle to above head. Must use both feet together, separately, and repetitively to operate equipment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must be able to hear and follow instruction.

Reliable Transportation. Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred. Comfortable and familiar with cleaning supplies. Reliability including timekeeping. Strong organizational skills. Ability to identify areas needing attention and act accordingly to correct deficiencies without direct and constant supervision. Eye for detail. Professional presentation and attitude.
