Staffmark is hiring a Logistics Administrative Clerk in Des Plaines, IL! In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating international shipments while ensuring excellent customer service and smooth communication across teams.
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule Details:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (for approx. 1 month)
Regular Shift (Post-Training):
Either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Start time between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM End time between 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM Must be flexible with shift assignment after training period. Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily import activities for international freight forwarding shipments Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delays, and resolutions Address and resolve service-related issues in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with internal departments, including the warehouse and logistics teams, to ensure accurate and timely deliveries Monitor shipment movement and ensure compliance with company and regulatory procedures Maintain accurate documentation and system entries related to shipments Qualifications:
1+ year of customer service or logistics experience required Strong communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
