CrowdDoing’s Catastrophic Wildfire Risk Reduction program provides a framework to address the risks of calamity spreading across a diversity of stakeholders, from companies to insurers to governments and individuals; and outlines a strategy for each stakeholder through the analytical model approach, that offers an innovative and financially self-sustaining model
Job Description:
We are looking for a methodical Marketing Research Analyst for forest wildfire to focus on Research and analysis of different stakeholders affected by wildfire like Health, Air pollution, water etc. They also analyze the likelihood of wildfires, fire behavior and fire effects using computer models. Data, such as the types of trees, amount of accumulated forest debris on the ground, air quality and historical wildfire records, are taken into consideration when planning a prescribed fire or analyzing wildland fire behavior.
Responsibilities:
Secondary Market Data and Research
Aggregate, review, and summarize existing data
Track and document resources
Create data charts and graphs to summarize findings
Track and document resources
Create data charts and graphs to summarize findings
Identify, integrate and manage partnerships
Identify wildfire risk reduction options for the community.
Assist in creating strategy and implementation plan
Stakeholder Mapping
Needs and Targeted Segments
Cross industry: insurance, municipal, corporate, communities, academia, associations
Across various land areas: local community, county, and landscape level (across land areas)
Requirements and skills:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines such as environmental science, conservation, ecology, rangeland management, wildlife or fish biology, forestry, natural resources
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
Proven Market Research Analysis experience
Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook,
Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, Different chart and Data Interpretation.
Should be able to contribute minimum 5hr Per week
Should have commitment of 6 months.
