Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role involves performing inspections, conducting leakage tests specific to cartridges, and participating in internal audits. You will be an integral part of the Reagent Department, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct received and outbound production and material inspections.
Perform leakage tests specifically on cartridges.
Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO9001.
Inspect and verify received products using drawings, specifications, statistical analysis, and measuring equipment.
Prepare product inspection instructions and establish visual inspection reports.
Investigate and purge stock of discrepant parts and materials.
Assist in determining departmental responsibilities for defect prevention.
Provide support in measuring and test equipment calibration and maintenance.
Assist in the controlled release of urgently needed materials prior to completion of receiving activities.
Essential Skills
Three or more years of previous work experience in inspection.
Proficiency in quality control, inspection, and visual inspection.
Ability to use a personal computer and software for technical documentation and data analysis.
Capability to write reports, chart data, and provide other technical documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality assurance and production environments.
Familiarity with testing and raw materials.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr.
