This position features a hybrid work option, based out of our offices in Lakeville, MN; Sun Prairie, WI; Naperville, IL; or Bloomington, IL.
Your Impact:
As a Senior Marketing Automation Strategist, you will lead the development and execution of personalized customer journeys across various digital channels, including email, SMS, and web platforms. By combining technical expertise with strategic marketing insights, you will deliver impactful campaigns that drive engagement and loyalty. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to transform business goals into actionable strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and will serve as a subject matter expert to identify innovative opportunities and optimize performance continuously.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance lead tracking and improve performance reporting accuracy.
Work with the enterprise data team to maintain high data quality and develop effective segmentation strategies.
Manage vendor relationships to adapt the marketing automation platform to our evolving needs.
Analyze campaign performance and customer engagement trends for constant improvement.
Create insightful reports and dashboards to help stakeholders evaluate success and make informed decisions.
Ensure compliance with regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR while maintaining high deliverability and engagement rates.
Stay updated on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and digital marketing trends.
Provide strategic training and support to team members and stakeholders to enhance their marketing automation skills.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of experience in marketing with a focus on demand generation and marketing automation.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrations with CRMs.
Preferred experience in the financial sector.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus.
Strong understanding of customer segmentation and digital marketing concepts.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with attention to detail.
Proficiency in HTML for email template creation and solid analytical skills.
Proficient with MS Office and CRM software.
Ability to manage multiple projects and foster cooperative relationships.

Our job titles encompass various career levels. The final job title and compensation will depend on experience, training, and market needs. Additional variable compensation and benefits may be part of this role.
The salary range for this position is $82,400 - $124,500 USD.
