Principal Project Manager/Sr Principal Project Manager
with the technical expertise, background, and people skills to coordinate and perform a wide range of program planning and business management efforts within the
STT
Team. This position will be located in
Roy, UT
and will support the Sentinel program. Relocation assistance may be offered for this position. What You’ll Get To Do Support the Test Strategy Pivot (TSP) efforts within the System Test Team. Lead the execution of specific working groups within the Test Strategy Pivot, focusing primarily on test execution within the System Test IPT but across all Segment/IPT Sentinel Test teams. Support a diverse Test Engineering team responsible for the program realignment. The position requires an organizational skillset with knowledge of creating new processes and tools. The candidate must act with speed to overcome obstacles and resolve issues. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound metrics management and the ability to effectively communicate to the Test Strategy Pivot program leadership. This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. In lieu of formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered. Sr Principal Project Manager: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience; Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience or PhD and 4 year of related experience. In lieu of formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered. Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need. 1+ years experience with project management and/or Earned Value Management. Previous experience working in Integration and Test Environments. Experience with leading a team. Experience with Microsoft products. Effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with program replan efforts.
