Material Handler

Must be Forklift Certified

2nd Shift- (Monday - Friday)

1st shift (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) for 2-3 weeks, then shift to the 2nd shift (3:00 p.m-11:30 p.m.) once fully trained.

Material Handler-Shipping is ultimately responsible for managing process flow in our Shipping department. This includes safely & properly fulfilling orders in a timely manner. Using tools such as pallet jacks, Material Handlers transition pallets of product to our order staging area and ultimately onto the customer truck for shipment to the products' final destination.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders & transporting pallets of product

Be a motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes

Ability to work independently or as a team to meet established goals

Load and unload pallets to and from trucks

Use handheld computers & other technology to track load progress

Ability to be flexible with day-to-day responsibilities & work in other areas according to business need

Ability to adhere to company policies, processes, regulations and procedures in a positive manner

Overtime as required

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

A minimum of 6 months of forklift experience

Ability to read orders and record information in English

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time

Pay Details:

$20.00 per hour
