JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Technician is responsible for managing the flow, processes, and procedures of the inventory control system in an efficient and effective manner to meet customer orders. Inventory control includes, but is not limited to, updating tickets through the ECRS ticketing system, tracking issues, maintaining inventory levels and physical counts, organizing, stocking, storing, disposing, and maintaining accurate record-keeping within ECRS's accounting software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately receive inbound inventory shipments, including physically receiving materials off the truck and receiving within the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP).

Manage proper tracking and updating of orders in ECRS' ERP and ticketing systems.

Maintain data integrity throughout the entire process of receiving, pulling, delivering and/or shipping.

Organize inventory rooms in a highly efficient, accessible, and visually appealing manner to prevent materials from being lost, damaged, counted incorrectly, or stolen.

Prepare and participate in audits and physical counts.

Sustain optimal levels of inventory (rotate appropriately, avoid bloat, etc.).

Maintain tickets within the queue, ensuring the Service Level Agreement is met when addressing tickets.

Regularly audit inventory via ECRS' ERP system and conduct cycle counts.

Identify departmental processes and procedure improvements to increase efficiency.

Adhere to departmental safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two-year degree and/or two years' experience in an Inventory related field.

Highly organized with great attention to detail and accuracy oriented.

Process-oriented with an in-depth understanding of process management.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with customers while communicating via phone, ECRS ticketing system, and email.

Strong understanding of timeline commitments and deliverables.

Ability to use Microsoft suite at an intermediate level and accounting software comfortably.

Ability to collaborate interdepartmentally and be team oriented.

Highly effective written and oral communication skills.

Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs.
