Sales Operations Analyst – Shockwave Medical
to join our team. The position is
FULLY REMOTE
and can sit anywhere in the US. Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. Responsibilities
Analysis & Reporting:
Self-direct and prioritize execution of incoming requests for analysis projects. Conduct analyses, develop conclusions and communicate recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. Create, monitor, support and manage reports and dashboards in Excel, Salesforce, and PowerBI. Work with large data sets, glean intelligence from data, draw conclusions, and enable recommendations to key stakeholder groups. Core Processes & Project Support:
Execute key commercial operations initiatives including compensation, quota, business planning, reporting, territory design and other projects. Maintain knowledge of area of specialization, principles, and practices within the discipline. Partner with different stakeholders to build and streamline commercial operations processes. Support sales, finance, and commercial operations teams by collecting and organizing data to inform and drive decisions. Identify needs and develop standardized tools, methodologies, and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency. Provide training to other analysts on best practices. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business/technical field or demonstrated relevant experience. MBA is a plus. 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or other analytical function. Understanding of building reporting/visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Ability to efficiently read in data, analyze, and present data using Python, R, or SQL is a plus. Experience in medical device or other life sciences industry is a plus. Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal guidance and supervision. Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities. Highly organized with good time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Able to identify and effectively communicate conclusions from analyses to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing. Able to determine stakeholder requests and manage ambiguity. US: $77,000 - $124,200 / Bay Area: $89,000 - $142,600 Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
