Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Product Loader, you will play a crucial role in the accurate, safe, and efficient loading of products onto trailers. You will ensure that each pallet is stable for transportation to our clubs and loaded according to specified load diagrams.
We are currently hiring for:
Morning Shift: Starts at 9 AM, with shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours until work is completed.
A 4-day schedule that includes one weekend day and three weekdays.
Compensation: Starting pay is $23.50/hr!
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately select appropriate pallets and verify products against pick tickets.
Complete and submit load sheets, ensuring all diagrams and tickets are clear and accurate.
Handle and load product onto trailers carefully to minimize damage.
Wrap pallets securely to ensure stability during transport.
Ensure trailers are swept and ready for use.
Check pallet conditions and exchange as necessary.
Promptly report any damage and inventory discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and repair within dock and facility areas.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; college coursework or relevant business experience is advantageous.
Preferred: 1+ year of warehouse experience.
Preferred: Experience with Material Handling Equipment.
Capable of managing requests from various sources.
Basic math skills are necessary to ensure accurate pallet heights and counts.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to follow directions utilizing headset systems.
Flexible scheduling is essential to meet member needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Environmental Job Conditions:
Must independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat frequently in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
Frequent grasping, reaching, pushing, or pulling of products required.
Endurance for high-paced work is necessary.
Experience fluctuating temperatures, including freezers as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit.
Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for safety.
Be aware that products may contain allergens.
Utilize safety equipment and systems after training for efficiency.
In compliance with Pay Transparency requirements, the starting pay for this position is $23.50, with potential variations based on experience, education, and other factors.
