Position Summary
The Senior Pricing Analyst is an essential support role within our Deal Desk & Pricing team, specifically for the Products & Healthcare Services division. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to implement GPO and competitive market-based pricing across our portfolio to maximize value. As a lead contributor in the RFP and bid proposal process for current and future customers, you will partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to execute Deal Desk Pricing functions effectively.
What your typical day/week will look like
Your analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency will be vital as you create and maintain pricing tools, RFP responses, and financial authority approval matrices for pricing requests submitted via Salesforce. You'll drive the pricing analysis from inception to completion, documenting financial outcomes and final actions in Salesforce to monitor and track decisions. Your detailed financial analysis will ensure all proposals align with GPO pricing guidelines, corporate goals, and comply with company policies.

Core Responsibilities
Champion pricing concepts and tools to assist the sales team in effectively pricing and structuring deals within established governance and policies.
Monitor and manage all incoming pricing requests in Salesforce, driving each to completion.
Review and interpret product RFPs and related information to inform financial models and deal responses.
Act as a subject matter expert on all bid functions within the Global Products Deal Desk.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and ensure pricing governance.
Coordinate reviews with senior management to discuss pricing strategies and data essential for winning and retaining business.
Conduct margin analysis for product categories for informed decision-making and reporting to internal teams.
Secure and document final approval terms in Salesforce, including pricing, rebates, and material conditions, and provide the final agreement package to key stakeholders for execution.
Design and develop reports and dashboards that exhibit sales trends, aiding decision-making.
Work together with compliance and rebates teams to manage special pricing contracts.
Required Experience - The essential Gotta-Haves
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field (7+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, finance, strategy, and/or analytics.
5+ years of experience in a Deal Desk or strategic pricing role with proven success in RFPs, bid management, and financial P&L modeling.
Advanced Excel skills are essential, including expertise in VLOOKUP/X-LOOKUP/H-LOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
Strong financial modeling skills and experience leading the bid process with presentations to leadership.
Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data for informed pricing decisions and performance measurement.
Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
Highly organized and process-oriented with an eye for detail.
Collaborative and service-oriented approach to support internal teams.
Flexible in translating and compiling data from varied sources into cohesive outputs.
Proactive in responding to requests and prioritizing decisions effectively under pressure.

MBA in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with healthcare and GPO relationships and their implications within hospital systems.
Knowledge of chargeback rebate functions and rebate incentive programs in healthcare settings.
Experience with Salesforce and SAP reporting or BI.
Strong experience with Power BI and dashboard/report creation from system data.
Experience presenting to senior management; comfort in influencing others.
Knowledge of medical and/or surgical products utilized in hospital environments.
Certification as a Pricing Professional (CPP), Project Management (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000/year.
