As a Pediatric Medical Assistant, your primary role will involve direct patient and family care via both in-person and telephone interactions. You will collaborate with our care team to ensure seamless service delivery and active patient participation in their healthcare journey. Assist physicians and providers with various clinical procedures as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Schedule:

Monday-Friday 10am-7pm with occasional Saturday half-day shifts. Your Key Responsibilities: Exhibit clinical competence while providing direct care to patients and assisting healthcare professionals during procedures. Perform clinical duties in compliance with CareMount Medical standards and protocols. Adopt a proactive approach to patient care, addressing individual and family needs promptly. Guide patients to examination rooms efficiently. Demonstrate clinical proficiency when assisting during examinations and office procedures. Perform authorized clinical tasks (e.g., vital signs, vision screening, laboratory tests) as directed. Seek guidance from healthcare professionals as needed. Prepare e-prescriptions according to CareMount Medical policy. Maintain, clean, and process medical instruments and equipment following guidelines. Label and process specimens accurately for laboratory transport. Required Qualifications: Current Nationally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification (from NAHP, NCCT, AAMA, AMT, NHA) or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment. 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with 1+ years of recent experience. Current CPR/BLS certification. The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $24.42 per hour based on full-time employment, with pay influenced by factors like education, work experience, and certifications.
