Innovative Packaging Designer - Structural & Graphic (Corrugated)
who is eager to transform concepts into powerful and creative packaging solutions. In this role, you will utilize your structural design skills along with creative problem-solving to create packaging that is visually appealing as well as strong, functional, and cost-effective. You will be involved in everything from CAD development to prototype testing and collaborating with graphic designers, positioning you at the center of creating packaging that excels. Your Responsibilities
Design customized corrugated packaging and displays utilizing
ArtiosCAD , ensuring compliance with customer specifications and performance targets. Enhance material usage, sizing, and palletization through
TOPS or CAPE
software. Develop prototypes and conduct small test runs using our
Kongsberg cutting table
to validate design functionality. Work collaboratively with
Account Managers, Customer Service, and Production
to ensure designs meet technical and customer needs. Maintain accurate specification sheets and manage project timelines within our internal systems. Order, quote, and track tooling for production purposes. Assist with lab testing and carry out on-site packaging audits at customer locations. Collaborate with Sales during customer visits to showcase solutions and gather design requirements. Consistently enhance existing packaging designs with cost-effective, performance-driven improvements. What You Bring to the Team
A Bachelor's degree in
Packaging, Industrial Design , or a related field is preferred. 2-5 years
of experience in corrugated packaging design. Proficiency in
ArtiosCAD, TOPS/CAPE, Microsoft Office , and sample cutting table operations. Strong understanding of
corrugated packaging, printing, tooling , and plant machinery. Exceptional
3D visualization, mathematical , and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communicator with the capacity to collaborate across teams and represent the company in external settings. About Our Company
