Position Overview
The Client Services Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for clients and plays a vital role in shaping their experience. The CSR provides dependable support to clients, builds meaningful relationships, and ensures smooth operations by working collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and the hospital manager.
This role is more than customer service-it's about being a trusted partner in our clients' pet care journey, demonstrating our values in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Communication Greet clients and pets with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. Guide clients through the check-in/check-out process, ensuring clarity, comfort, and compassion. Communicate treatment plans, follow-up instructions, and preventive care recommendations in an educational and approachable way. Scheduling & Coordination
Manage appointment scheduling to balance patient needs and hospital flow. Proactively support the medical team by anticipating client needs and ensuring timely communication. Financial & Administrative Duties
Process payments accurately, providing transparent explanations of charges. Maintain client records with attention to detail, ensuring honesty and accuracy in documentation. Assist with product knowledge and sales, recommending options that genuinely serve the pet's best interest. Hospital Support
Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area that reflects the happiness and professionalism of our hospital. Follow emergency protocols calmly and dependably, supporting clients and staff through urgent situations. Core Values in Action

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred. Prior client service experience (veterinary or medical preferred but not required). Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy, honesty, and professionalism. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail. Comfort with computers; experience with AVImark is a plus. Passion for animals and dedication to their well-being. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The Ideal Candidate
