Responsible for the day-to-day production duties as assigned. Responsible for understanding, reading, completion and adherence to all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), in addition to all other food safety/quality assurance audits to meet government/third-party auditors, and company regulations, including but not limited to FDA.
Operators are routinely required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual material handling, machinery, and equipment. This work is physically demanding and can require the use of some or all body parts and muscle groups. Good hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills are essential for most job tasks. Additional essential functions/abilities may be applicable to specific jobs
Requirements
Principal Accountabilities:
Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, Customer Service requirements and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all inventory transactions and physical movement of materials from receipt to stocking, to distribution. Assists with maintaining accuracy of inventory by cycle count and physical inventory Assists with outgoing shipment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Assists with layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored Actively participates in all continuous improvement activities in logistics. Will utilize stand-up forklift proficiently daily Fix and or report issues that might occur during the shift immediately without hesitation Being able to understand and follow oral and written instruction from supervisors and designated staff. Understand and Follow all SOP (Site Operating Procedures) and FDA Regulations Ability to understand, read and complete all necessary paperwork, including FDA Documents Additional essential responsibilities may be applicable to specific jobs Mission Critical Competencies:

Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions accurately? Capability to complete forms, documentation, and reports clearly and legibly? Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members. Prior work history with at least one year of previous employment in food industry Stand-Up Forklift experience (certification preferable) Any other duties/roles as assigned Work Environment:
Standing for long periods; up to 10-hour shifts Climbing or moving on ladders, steps, stairwells, walkways, and platforms, Carrying, lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling movement and repetition of heavy and/or awkward objects or loads. Lifting and lowering of objects up to 60 lbs. Pushing or pulling of heavy roller carts, bins, or transport containers. Wearing, using, and maintaining personal protective equipment. Physical Demands:
Regular exposure to cold, hot and or humid conditions Climate extremes found in all areas of plant operations Ability to work in close spaces Loud noise environment
