Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Stockroom employee your responsible for accepting shipments from venders and filling orders for production on a daily basis. The materials that are needed for production at the plant are put on an order pick list and sent to the warehouse. Where you will then be in charge of getting those ready to be sent over for the day. You will also be in charge of not only accepting the shipments of products coming in, but also stocking them on the shelves.

Hours-Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. Hours are subject to change when needed
The Stockroom employee contributes to the continuous improvement of the warehouse facility in the following areas:
Safety:
Identifies safety Hazards
Reports any safety concerns
Helps resolve safety issues
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 35 lbs as part of the job function
Quality:
Ensures proper loading and protecting of materials
Verifies quality on a continuing basis
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems
Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels
Verify the implementation of solutions
Productivity:
Receives items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers
Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, and noting discrepancies
Documents items received by recording in MRP system
Transfers orders received, routes, and delivers items to requesting department
Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers
Ships items by verifying and identifying materials and quantity and condition of items
Generates shortage report when stocking levels become low
Cycle counts materials by part number to insure record accuracy
Maintains stock room in neat and orderly manner to insure inventory accuracy
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Broad knowledge of production, parts, and product
Forklift License or Experience, we do train as well
Knowlege on Stand up Forklift a plus!
Lean Manufacturing Experience
Familiar with AX software
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
Excellent organization, documentation, and customer service skills
