SUMMARY:
Responsible for the cleanliness of all the recreation common areas, which includes but is not limited to restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, beach area, pool decks and more. This position is responsible for the emptying of trash receptacles, cleanliness of the dumpster areas, and operating a trash compactor. Needs to be friendly, task oriented, and have a team mentality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean trash up from in and around the park Provide customer service and working knowledge of the park Clean restrooms Maintain a clean workspace Clean spills, food, and other fluids around the park Work with cleaning supplies/chemicals Patrol the park constantly cleaning Other duties may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES >span class="eop"> QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE None required.
Must be at least 16 years of age. 18 or older with a clean Motor Vehicle Record to drive department golf cart and trucks. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing work related activities. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees. The associate is occasionally required to lift and or move 50 pounds or more. The associate is required to push rolling trash carts throughout the park and collect trash along the way while lifting trash bags into and out of the cart(s).
