Produce Clerk

Job Summary: Join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club as a Produce Clerk. In this role, you will sort, display, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Your responsibilities also include providing assistance to members, maintaining the overall department environment, and ensuring that all produce meets company quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist members in the produce department by answering questions, recommending products, and providing safe handling tips Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery to ensure it meets or exceeds company standards Rotate produce on the sales floor for optimal freshness, stock display areas, and keep displays neat and clean Maintain the produce reserve stock area and ensure storage organization Dispose of damaged, spoiled, and expired products following guidelines Assist with inventory and order processing as needed Clean and sanitize all produce equipment and display areas Qualifications: Prior work experience in a produce department preferred Knowledge of fruit and vegetables, including seasonal items, preferred Must be at least 18 years old
