Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Workforce Capacity Predictive Modeling Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing predictive models that support workforce planning and capacity forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

:

Design and build predictive models to support workforce capacity planning.

Apply machine learning techniques and statistical modeling to forecast workforce needs.

Conduct scenario planning and simulations to evaluate potential outcomes.

Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering to enhance model performance.

Optimize models for accuracy, scalability, and performance.

Present technical findings and insights to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Collaborate with team and stakeholders to align modeling efforts with business strategy.

Translate complex analytical concepts into business-friendly language.

Create reports and visualizations using Excel and PowerPoint to support decision-making.

Required Skills/Experience

:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Advanced programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages

Proficiency in machine learning and predictive algorithms

Strong background in statistical modeling and validation

Experience with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex models into business insights

Strong problem-solving abilities with a mathematical mindset

Demonstrates curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning

Proven ability to build predictive models from scratch.

Experience in model optimization and performance tuning.

Skilled in scenario planning and simulation techniques.

Expertise in data preprocessing and feature engineering.

Ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Experience managing stakeholders at the AVP level.

Preferred skill/experience

:

Basic Power BI knowledge and experience

Workforce/capacity planning domain knowledge

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

Understanding of business strategy

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Candidates must reside in or near Cincinnati, Ohio, Gresham, OR, Fargo, ND, Irving, TX , Saint Paul, MN, or Tempe, AZ.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,600.00 - $96,000.00
