The Ohio State University is seeking an Inventory Control And Analysis Coordinator 2 to join the Food Service Administration team at University Hospital. This position is responsible for managing the distribution chain for assigned units, developing and implementing appropriate inventory, orders, delivery, stocking, and charge processes. The role also involves assisting with the development of systems to support these activities, maintaining information in identified systems, and ensuring distribution services meet the needs of customers and operations. Key responsibilities include: Managing distribution chain for assigned units Developing and implementing inventory, orders, delivery, stocking, and charge processes Assisting with the development of systems to support distribution activities Maintaining information in identified systems Ensuring distribution services meet customer and operational needs Maintaining assigned locations with first-in/first-out practices, appropriate date labeling, and cleaning schedules Ensuring compliance with health department regulations Integrating distribution functions within the area, department, and across the organization Supporting the department distribution team with inventory, receiving, unloading, stock rotation, storeroom setup, and general cleaning of distribution areas in the kitchen The position is located at Rhodes Hall (0354) and is a regular position with scheduled hours of 40.
