We are seeking a strategic and creative Director of Marketing Brand & Content Strategy to lead our content efforts across channels and customer touchpoints. In this role, you’ll define and execute a content strategy that supports brand positioning by blending storytelling with performance marketing to drive awareness, lead and demand generation, and sales enablement. You will shape our brand voice, oversee content creation, and ensure content alignment with business goals. This is a hands-on role that manages a team of creatives and collaborates with our creative agency, product marketing, product, and sales. The ideal candidate has experience in growth-focused content marketing and can craft narratives that attract, convert, and retain sellers and buyers to a two-sided real estate marketplace. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a content marketing strategy tailored to drive engagement and action with each customer segment in the marketplace. Plan, create and optimize the production and distribution of content across blog, website, landing pages, social media, email, paid, SMS, sales pitch, call script, and paid channels. Align content with product positioning, sales campaigns, product launches, customer segmentation, and SEO best practices. Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling
Maintain brand consistency in voice, tone, style, and messaging across all content while elevating our brand’s narrative. Lead content initiatives that foster trust and credibility with users on both sides of the marketplace with compelling narratives. Work with internal subject matter experts, partners, and influencers to create thought leadership content. Growth Marketing
Optimize content for organic search, ensuring growth in marketplace traffic. Implement content strategies to drive inbound leads, user acquisition, and brand visibility. Build organic social media strategy and content to drive audience engagement and brand recognition. Collaborate with growth and product teams to develop conversion-driven landing pages and content funnels. Work with paid media and performance marketing teams to align content with digital campaigns. Partner with sales leadership to identify and develop content that accelerates the sales cycle from prospecting, to nurturing, and closing. Ensure sales have easy access to relevant, up-to-date content through a crafted and maintained library of sales enablement materials, including case studies, pitch decks, objection-handling guides, and product sheets. Leverage performance reporting, analytics, and client and customer feedback to continually refine strategy, messaging and content formats to maximize impact to KPIs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - What Success Looks Like:
A steady pipeline of qualified leads generated through high-performing content. Sales teams are equipped with the right content at the right time to close more deals. A cohesive, data-informed content strategy aligned with business and revenue goals. An extended content marketing team that produces best-in-class assets consistently and efficiently. Increase brand visibility, media mentions, and stakeholder engagement. Measurable contributions to the marketing pipeline, lead quality, and sales success. A consistent, confident, and inspiring brand voice across all touchpoints. Experience Requirements:
8–12+ years in content marketing, performance marketing, or integrated marketing, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of using content to drive lead generation, sales enablement, and product promotion. Excellent storytelling, writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and a portfolio that demonstrates conversion-oriented content. Experience managing a team and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. Ability to balance creativity with performance metrics and business impact. Industry experience in mortgage servicing, residential real estate sales, or auction marketplace environments Strong knowledge of SEO, GEO, and content performance analytics and best practices. Proficiency with content tools (CMS, analytics platforms, SEO tools, project management systems). Success leveraging AI tools and familiarity with emerging content technologies. Preferred :
Industry experience in mortgage servicing, residential real estate sales, or auction marketplace environments Ability to balance creativity with performance metrics and business impact.
