Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Job Description

This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices primarily in a clean room environment. The role involves the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using microscopes, and operation of various equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.

Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update relevant job documentation for traceability.

Prepare products for packing and sterilization.

Inspect products using a microscope.

Set up coating machines and inspect balloon catheters.

Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations.

Test formulations and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.

Identify supplies that need replenishment.

Build components needed for top-level work orders.

Complete cleaning activities as required.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in English at a medium level.

1+ year of experience in medical device manufacturing.

Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

Familiarity with cleanroom gowning and de-gowning processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with microscope inspection is preferred.

Comfortable working with chemicals.

High school diploma or equivalent education.

Work Environment

Work primarily takes place in a cleanroom environment. Employees will take two 30-minute breaks, including one off-the-clock lunch break and one on-the-clock break. The role requires standing for the entire shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
