How will you make a difference? The Staffing Coordinator is responsible to ensure that staffing levels of the Nursing Department are maintained and/or adjusted with fluctuations in daily census changes. This position also provides a variety of daily/clerical support activities to the CNO and Nursing Administration team to ensure the highest degree of care is provided to the Hospitals patients. Responsibilities

Responsible for the weekly and daily staffing of all RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and Nurse Supervisors based on the daily changes in patient census. Updates and maintains the digital scheduling software in tandem with Hospitals HRIS/payroll system. Notifies nursing staff of changes in their schedules in advance. Works closely with the CNO and nursing leadership to process PTO requests based on staffing requirement projections and vacancies. Professionally engages nursing staff members by phone and/or HBMs digital means for the purpose of filing staffing vacancies. Manages all call-ins/absences to ensure proper coverage on the unit(s). Reviews staffing with CNO to ensure adherence to staffing grid and safety. Payroll Nursing Duties

Prepares daily staffing FTE report for CEO, CFO, COO, and CNO. Reviews time sheets daily and makes corrections as necessary for timely payroll processing including daily audits of department coding. Assists in nursing staffs paycheck discrepancies as necessary to ensure compliance with state, federal, and/or Company Policy. Assists the CNO and HR in the preparation of submitting a Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for changes in the nursing department as requested and/or required. Nursing Support Duties

Works closely with nursing leadership to ensure staffing compliance with the approved schedule and budget. Maintains staffing records and communicates clearly with nursing leadership and/or team members. Maintains accurate and up to date records of all per diem agreements and commitments. Assists in the Hospitals recruitment efforts to fill staffing vacancies including, but not limited to, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and assisting in the onboarding and orientation process for all nursing staff new hires. Ensures all nursing staff are compliant with in-service training(s), orientation, and all licensure/certification requirements as required. Your Experience Matters

What were looking for: Education & Licensure (if applicable):

High school graduate or GED equivalent required. Experience:

Preferably a minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital business office and/or human resources within a health care setting; or any combination of education, training and/or experience in a hospital business office setting. Additional Skill Requirements:
