Job Title: Quality Assurance InspectorJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector with a strong background in electrical inspection, ideally within a building department. The role requires familiarity with electrical codes such as NEC, Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and Lightning Protection Code. The ability to review and interpret plans and specifications for application during inspections is crucial. Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Electrical Inspection is preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as is experience with ANSI/NETA standards for testing electrical power systems.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical inspections with a focus on safety and reliability standards.
Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance.
Document and report on inspection findings and construction progress.
Apply knowledge of NEC, Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and Lightning Protection Code during inspections.
Utilize ANSI/NETA standards for testing electrical systems.
Conduct inspections of electrical systems, including generators and wiring.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and relevant codes.
Experience in electrical inspection and quality assurance inspection.
Ability to read and apply construction plans and specifications.
Proficiency in providing detailed reports and documentation.
Understanding of MasterFormat Codes: 26, 27, 28.
Background with NETA standards and their application.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CCM degree or enrollment in any CMAA class is advantageous.
Understanding of the differences between NEC and Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
Knowledge of generator systems and emergency power maintenance.
Work Environment
The project involves a dynamic schedule, alternating between day and overnight shifts each quarter. Expect a mix of environments and conditions as part of a large design build firm offering growth opportunities, flexible PTO, and stock options.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
