Adjunct Faculty - School of Nursing - Exam Proctor
The School of Nursing (Boston Campus) seeks an adjunct faculty member to be an exam proctor. Responsibilities include: Monitoring students while taking exams to maintain exam security and avoid cheating Ensuring students have the necessary materials for each exam Enforcing time limits and other examination procedures Notifying appropriate personnel when exam equipment malfunctions Reporting rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations Recording attendance and exam completion of exam takers Requirements: BSN degree required Basic computer skills (proficient in use of email and Microsoft Office) Ability to give written and oral instructions and to communicate well and professionally Ability to exercise sound judgement and to exercise discretion in handling confidential information Maintaining working knowledge of School of Nursing testing policies and procedures Excellent time management Strong decision-making abilities Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended amount of time Previous experience and knowledge of ExamSoft and HESI software is helpful Ability to stand or sit for extended period of time MCPHS is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to ensuring equal opportunity for all members of the University community.
