We have an outstanding Contract position for aServiceNow Technical Consultantto join a leading Company located in theChantilly, VAsurrounding area.

US Citizenship is required.

Candidate must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) to join our growing company. As a Consultant, you will work with analysts, architects, and other engineers, leveraging technical best practices to deliver out-of-the-box and custom solutions to our customers on the ServiceNow platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement and Configure Common ServiceNow Applications and Capabilities, such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, and Service Portal

Design / Develop ServiceNow Tables, Fields, Forms and Access Controls

Create Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions

Use JavaScript to develop solutions for requirements that can not be satisfied through configuration

Create Scoped Applications using Studio

Automate activities on the ServiceNow platform leveraging Flow Designer and/or Workflow Engine

Build data sets and transform maps for importing data from other sources into ServiceNow

Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other systems through Integration Hub or other capabilities

Document all technical work for purposes of knowledge transfer

Basic Hiring Criteria:

Degree in Information technology or a related discipline or comparable combination of education and professional experience

Previous experience as a ServiceNow administrator, developer or equivalent role

Previous Scripting/Coding Experience (JavaScript preferred)

Active ServiceNow Certifications a plus

Experience with Agile software development and related concepts preferred

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives

Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirements

Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment

Able to communicate (verbal and written) in a clear and concise manner , tailoring the communication appropriately to the intended audience

Excellent active listening skills

Capable of dealing with and managing conflict
