Save Job

At LCM, play is serious business-and we're on a mission to show every child that they matter. From splashing along the Mississippi River to creating masterpieces in the Studio in the Park, we believe learning happens best when curiosity leads the way. Working here means being part of a team that strengthens families, sparks imagination, and creates unforgettable moments every single day.

Job Summary:

The Birthday Host is an essential part of the museum's guest experience. Since a child only celebrates their birthday once each year, LCM makes it unforgettable! Birthday Hosts create joyful, meaningful memories for the birthday child, their family, and their guests. They serve as the on-site coordinator for parties, setting the tone and energy while ensuring a fun, playful, and child-centered celebration. When not hosting a party, Birthday Hosts may be assigned to support other museum roles such as Play Facilitator, Visitor Services Agent, or Toy Specialist.
