This Health Economics & Market Access Manager will work in close collaboration with stakeholders in Interventional Oncology and Embolization (IO&E) and at Corporate to lead and execute market access strategy. The manager will manage and develop methods to positively advocate and remove barriers to access and ensure coverage and reimbursement for the division’s commercially marketed products. Successful candidates will have deep oncology domain expertise and a proven track record of shaping access pathways in complex, evidence-driven markets. Your responsibilities will include: Lead development and execution of comprehensive reimbursement, market access and health economic activities within the interventional oncology and embolization portfolio, aligning with enterprise priorities to optimize patient access and commercial outcomes Act as a subject matter expert on interventional oncology and embolization reimbursement, coding, and policy trends relevant to IO&E procedures. Represent the HEMA function externally in engagements with clinical key opinion leaders, advisory boards, payer organizations and medical societies. Partner with multiple cross functional partners to develop product and economic value propositions. Lead identification of evidence gaps and development of payer-relevant evidence generation strategies. Maintain deep expertise in current and emerging oncology reimbursement policy, clinical guidelines, and coding updates. Partner with global regional HEMA teams to ensure strategic alignment and leverage regional insights that support global launch readiness and sustained market growth Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in health-related discipline including HEMA, healthcare administration, health policy, public health, or similar discipline Minimum 5 working years in biotech, pharmaceutical or medtech industry, delivery and/or administration of healthcare, or with healthcare payer Prior experience with oncology, preferably interventional oncology Experience with Medicare payment and coverage policies and processes. Conversationally fluent with medical coding and site-of-service specific reimbursement Working knowledge of answering challenging utilization and health economic questions using large datasets Working knowledge of hospital financial systems and revenue cycle management practices Able to overnight travel up to 30% Preferred qualifications: An advanced degree such as an MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, MSc in health policy, health economics, healthcare administration, health services research, public health or similar discipline is highly desired. Outstanding people skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and directly influencing business objectives. Ability to present complex health economic information to both large and small influential groups. Effectively operate analytics for analysis and presentation, including economic tools. Ability to train sales team members both individually and in groups in the use of economic tools. Ability to illicit and interpret customers’ goals, needs, and priorities and creatively address them with Boston Scientific products and programs. Demonstrated responsiveness and sense of urgency when pursuing goals and completing tasks. Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects, prioritization Ability to work with ambiguity and continuously adapt in a rapidly changing atmosphere.
