Count Room Attendant

The Count Room Attendant is responsible for the collection and count of games' cash boxes from the gaming floor.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service Performs the collection, counting, sorting and recording of the contents of the drop boxes from the coin dispensers Counting, sorting and recording of the contents of the drop boxes from the gaming tables Performs the collection of slot drop buckets and drop boxes from the coin dispensers Performs the counting, sorting, weighing and wrapping or bagging of coins from the drop buckets and drop boxes of slot machines and coin dispensers Assures the best service to our patrons and fellow co-workers by the Count Room Department Enters cash into a currency counter and verifies the information in the AS/400 Enters the drop information into the AS/400 in a manual mode Assists in the preventative maintenance program that ensures the efficient operation of the Count Room and all related equipment Participates in the transfer of coins from the Hard Count Room to the Coin Storage Room. Complies with departmental procedures and policies Complies with New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJ DGE) regulations and procedures and the system of accounting and internal controls Ensures all necessary paperwork is completed properly. Performs related duties as assigned. Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service Qualifications

Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent Count Room work experience preferred Prior knowledge of NJ DGE regulations as they relate to count room procedures Money handling experience Must possess an active Key Credential or be eligible to obtain Credential from the NJ DGE Available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays What we offer you:
