St. Katharine Drexel School is seeking a part-time Custodian to work evenings.
Job Posting Date : September 15, 2025, open until filled. Job Start Date : Immediately Job Location : St. Katharine Drexel School and Church of St. Augustine, St. Cloud, MN Position : Custodian - Evenings Hours : Up to 20 hours per week with a 2:30p.m. start time. Hourly Rate : $16.00-$18.00, depending on experience.
Job Summary: The Custodian will maintain all campus buildings in a clean and orderly condition and may perform ordinary, routine repairs. The Custodian reports to the Principal and Maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums, hallways, stairs, classrooms, and office space. Empty tenants' recycling and garbage containers. Maintains campus buildings, performing minor and routine maintenance activities. Notifies the Custodial Supervisor concerning the need for repairs to fixtures, lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment. Cleans window glass around all buildings on campus. Cleans and disinfects toilets, sinks, water fountains, lockers, classroom desks, doors, handrails, countertops, and other surfaces as needed. Replaces disposable items such as paper towels and toilet paper. Cleans and disinfects lockers and restrooms daily or as prescribed by the Supervisor. Maintains own custodial workspace in an orderly fashion, well stocked, etc. Assists with campus security. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: Custodial experience is preferred, but we are willing to provide training to the right person.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion Job requires routine bending, kneeling, twisting, and some lifting.
