Mystic Healthcare is a 100-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are excited to announce that we are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our exceptional team!
Housekeeper Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, your role will involve maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. You will perform routine cleaning tasks in living and recreational areas, collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate daily housekeeping services, and report any incidents to your supervisor.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
Adhere to cleaning schedules to ensure timely tasks are completed.
Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and attractive state.
Comply with established policies regarding personal protective equipment and the disposal of infectious wastes.
Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, restrooms, and entry/exit points.
Handle floor cleaning, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting (with safety measures in place).
Perform carpet cleaning duties such as vacuuming, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
Clean walls and ceilings through washing, dusting, and spot cleaning as necessary.
Utilize proper cleaning solutions to remove dirt, dust, and grime from surfaces.
Carry out daily housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Ability to speak and write in English in an understandable manner. Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of at least 3 feet, and carrying it a minimum distance of 4 feet. Able to work around food and cleaning products.
