Were working with a fast-growing space systems company that is revolutionising spacecraft operations. Their mission is to make satellite and mission control infrastructure as seamless as modern cloud platforms. Theyre now looking for an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of secure, high-availability systems. Location:

Hybrid, 23 days onsite in Southern California or Colorado Clearance Required:

$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Base pay range (EVONA-provided):

Architect, automate, test, deploy, and maintain resilient Kubernetes-based infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments Own the Kubernetes deployment strategy, collaborating with software teams to ensure a robust architecture Implement DevSecOps practices aligned with SOC2, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP Medium controls Develop secure ingress and egress into customer and vendor data centres across multi and single-tenant environments Optimise infrastructure for availability, latency, and performance Work directly with customers to deliver secure deployments in both cloud and offline facilities Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production environments Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) Proficiency in Python and ability to collaborate closely with software engineers on microservices Knowledge of monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, or similar) Familiarity with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP Strong understanding of networking (VPNs, load balancers, TLS, HTTPS, CDN) Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) Cloud security best practices, IAM (Auth0/Okta), and Unix/Linux OS Soft Skills
