Position Summary: The Labor Analyst role is responsible for providing management with detailed labor efficiency information regarding the operational departments throughout the property. This includes creating labor standards, volume related metrics, year over year comparisons and trend analyses. This position collaborates closely with the GM, CFO, Executive Team, and property operational leaders. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tlcn and the Core Values of ilani. Partner with the GM, CFO, Executive Team, and operational leaders to drive labor budgeting, forecasting, usage, efficiency, and reporting for the property. Maintain a robust reporting package that tracks labor usage, analyzes business trends, and evaluates departmental labor performance. Provide data and analysis to support decisions related to staffing levels. Develop per hour labor standards for all operational areas, i.e., hands per hour, rolls per hour, covers per hour for both the back and front of house, drinks per hour, calls per hour, handle pulls per hour, etc. These standards are then applied to forecasted business volumes to generate work schedules. Actual metrics will be compared to these standards on an ongoing basis to determine if changes to the work schedules need to be made. On a routine basis, the Labor Analyst will present to the executive committee the results of the ongoing labor reviews to identify areas of opportunity, particularly areas of sustained under-performance. Review proposed increases to staffing levels to determine if additional labor hours are needed based on past performance against labor standards. This information is then shared with the compensation committee before increases to staffing levels are made. Engage in continuous improvements efforts across departments. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of workforce analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Must be familiar with databases and be exceptionally skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point. Property financial planning experience. Familiarity with labor metrics and scheduling. Must be able to present and communicate complex financial information in an understandable way to a non-financial audience. Exceptional collaboration, customer service, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Must be willing to work in a smoking environment. Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures. Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Regular Starting at: $51,480.00
