Summary
Supports human resource information system (HRIS) needs of the organization. Completes system testing, analysis and problem resolution of assigned HR system applications. Develops user requested reports for HR data, responds to inquiries in a timely manner, participates in projects, and ensures data integrity. Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education Required: Bachelors degree in business, computer science, management information systems, Human Resources or closely related field of study with emphasis on database applications and related operating systems or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Experience & Training Required:
One (1) year previous IT/HR related experience which has provided skill in;
Creating, updating, and auditing fields in an information system Report writing Basic programming skills (e.g., Java, SQL, HTML, etc.) Solid understanding of database relationships
Prior experience working in a HRIS system preferred Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
Ability to understand how to enhance/improve HR functions/data utilizing technology Ability to pass skills test in Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level Possess critical thinking skills to analyze problem situations, develop solutions, and recommend positive corrective action Possesses high attention to detail Good organizational skills to establish timetables and meet deadlines Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively Ability to maintain and protect confidentiality of data Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity Level of Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $30.91/hr - $46.36/hr. This range is base pay and may be influenced by factors such as experience and location.
