Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate/Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role involves monitoring inventory movement, conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and collaborating with other staff to ensure the proper handling, storage, and tracking of goods.
Key Responsibilities :
Track, record, and manage inventory levels using internal systems
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items
Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to verify incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain accurate records of damaged, lost, or returned goods
Generate and analyze inventory reports for management
Assist in process improvements related to inventory control and warehouse operations
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus
Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Requires strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift items 25+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and other basic computer applications
Good communication and teamwork skills
