About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable
Floor Care Technician
to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces using specialized techniques and industrial equipment. From hard-surface restoration to carpet and upholstery care, your expertise will help ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Apply proper procedures for hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning
Operate industrial floor care equipment and automated cleaning systems for large surface areas
Perform carpet and upholstery maintenance: shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
Conduct restorative treatments for all types of flooring
Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment properly
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
Solid understanding of floor care techniques and equipment
Experience with waxing, buffing, scrubbing, polishing, and burnishing tools
Familiarity with janitorial, custodial, and housekeeping practices
Ability to consistently follow safety procedures
Prior experience in a floor care or related role preferred
Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
