Aon is seeking a Senior Consultant for our Sales Force Effectiveness practice, where you will enable our clients to achieve exceptional results through innovative solutions. This role allows for remote work flexibility.
Your role as a Senior Consultant will be pivotal in helping organizations identify and seize profitable revenue growth opportunities. Understanding the costly nature of sales resources, our practice emphasizes the importance of effective customer targeting, strategic deployment, sales talent management, and motivation of sales teams to drive client success.
In this position, you will engage in data analysis, solution development, project management, and delivery, collaborating with seasoned consultants to enhance your technical skills and functional knowledge in areas such as territory design, goal setting, and sales incentive structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough project work, analyze data, and gain insights into various business models through hands-on engagements. Utilize innovative consulting methodologies to tackle complex client business challenges. Build and maintain relationships with senior consultants and peers across locations to enhance professional reputation and project prospects. Establish trust with client stakeholders and work towards improving engagement utilization. Assist in creating and implementing strategies for sales effectiveness that address the challenges faced by our clients. Support project sales efforts and identify opportunities for project expansion during client interactions. Contribute to client proposals by participating in client scoping discussions with senior consultants. Conduct research as directed by senior consultants. Meet client needs and implement project plans to maximize value for both clients and Aon. Deliver high-quality outputs as supervised by senior consultants and project managers. Engage in ongoing training and development to fully understand Aon's consulting methodologies and stay updated on industry trends. Participate in internal initiatives to develop new consulting content and support recruitment efforts. Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary. Qualifications:
Required: 5-7+ years of relevant experience. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and formula development, alongside experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Snowflake. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Robust understanding of the sales process, tools, incentives, reporting, planning, and related areas. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Capability to synthesize data and derive meaningful insights. Effective problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills and a questioning attitude towards data quality. Project management expertise. Preferred: Demonstrated leadership experience in extracurricular activities. Previous sales experience. Proactive in engaging with industry developments through reading, training, and networking. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or General Business.
