Benefits Analyst (Temp-to-Hire)

Location:

Dallas, TX (Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Pay Rate:

$30 - $35 per hour

We are seeking a

Benefits Analyst

for a

Temp-to-Hire

position on

our client's team . This role requires strong administration, compliance, and communication skills for all employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities Administer and assist in the development of all company benefit plans, including the 401k plan.

Ensure full compliance with ERISA, federal/state regulations, Internal Revenue Code, and organizational policies.

Manage day-to-day COBRA administration and required benefits reporting.

Coordinate with HRIS, Payroll, and other departments to implement new program changes.

Develop, design, and distribute clear communication, training, and open enrollment materials.

Manage effective wellness programs (e.g., flu shots).

Handle all Tier 0 benefits inquiries (benefits inbox).

Perform ongoing data audits and maintenance across HRIS and benefits systems.

Manage all billing invoices, ensuring compliance with net 45 payment terms.

Communicate with external counsel, vendors, carriers, and third-party administrators.

Document all standard process details for core duties.

Demonstrate knowledge of Leave of Absence administration (FMLA, Disability, State Laws) and ADA accommodations. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of

1-5 years

experience in employee benefits administration.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas).

Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and communicate with employees and vendors.

Proven ability to interpret complex benefit contracts and plan documents.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at problem-solving.

Knowledge of relevant state and federal leave of absence laws (e.g., PDL, FMLA, CFRA).

Workday experience, especially using report writer tools, is highly valued.

CEBS/CBP/PHR certification preferred. Work Environment

Professional office environment in Dallas, TX.

Hybrid schedule: 4 days on-site

is required.

Extensive use of office equipment and software.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $35.00
