We are seeking an experienced (Sr. ) Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. You'll be in charge of overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from strategic planning and negotiation, to logistics and performance management. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of underground utility construction, site work/earthwork and pre-construction. We are looking for a leader who can manage projects, estimate costs, and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. Develop and implement strategic plans to meet project objectives. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. Monitor project performance and make necessary corrections to meet project objectives. Conduct site work and manage underground and wet utilities. Prepare and present cost estimates, and ensure projects are completed within budget. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and estimation in the construction industry. Proven experience in construction management, strategic planning, logistics management, and negotiation. Proficiency in managing underground utility and site work. Expertise in project management and estimation. Strong knowledge of wet utilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and project management abilities. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficient in project management software. Solid understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
