A well-established manufacturing company in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure all products and components meet company, customer, and industry quality standards. Quality Inspector Responsibilities: Conduct inspections to verify products, parts, or services meet quality standards and specifications Identify non-conformities and lead MRB when required Perform checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, Keyence, IM, XM, etc.) and maintain calibration Record and maintain inspection logs, checklists, and quality reports accurately Collaborate with vendors to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions Support internal audits and quality management system activities Suggest process improvements to reduce defects and maintain compliance Follow ISO and industry-specific standards in all inspections Quality Inspector Requirements:
Experience with inspection equipment and reading engineering drawings/blueprints, including GD&T knowledge Ability to spot small defects and identify trends in quality data Familiarity with ISO audits and quality management procedures Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality reports Understanding of corrective and preventive actions in manufacturing environments Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, or ISO 9001 training 1-2 years of relevant experience; manufacturing background preferred but other industries acceptable Benefits:
