Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemical Lab & Quality Technician. This role involves hands-on work in process control, chemical analysis, quality assurance, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute to maintaining high standards in metal treatment and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily solution analyses and calculate necessary chemical additions.
Monitor and report out-of-range readings and supply needs.
Perform scheduled water and waste treatment analyses.
Troubleshoot waste treatment issues and coordinate with maintenance.
Schedule and document bath changes and waste pickups.
Perform reliability tests such as salt spray and adhesion.
Conduct in-process and final inspections and document results.
Review specifications with Quality and Engineering teams.
Manage customer-facing corrective actions and quality reports.
Support internal and external audits, including NADCAP compliance.
Maintain calibration logs and issue Certificates of Compliance.
Develop and deliver quality training materials and documentation.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Attend production meetings to prioritize quality issues.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and cost-of-quality reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in chemical and environmental testing.
Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate waste treatment issues.
Capability to manage customer-facing corrective actions.
Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50960.00 - $50960.00/yr.
