MAU is hiring a Quality Inspector for our client in Greenville, SC.
As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct inspections during and after the assembly of gas turbines to ensure parts, components, and final builds meet strict quality standards.

Monday - Friday | 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment Preferred Education and Experience
Technical training or certification in quality inspection or mechanical assembly General Requirements
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Familiarity with mechanical components, part identification, and torque/fastening methods Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a cross-functional team Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation Essential Functions
Perform visual inspections of gas turbine assemblies to verify all components, including fasteners, are correctly installed Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure correct parts and specifications are followed Verify part numbers and assembly sequences at various stages of production Conduct inspections behind the assembly team to ensure compliance, especially where internal "due checks" are insufficient Perform random sampling of incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with quality requirements Verify product quality following changeovers to confirm alignment with product specifications Document inspection results clearly and accurately using designated check sheets or inspection logs Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when defects or deviations are identified, ensuring proper traceability and logging Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure effective containment, follow-up, and resolution of identified issues Monitor and track products on hold, working cross-functionally to facilitate timely material disposition Working Conditions
Approximately 95% of the time will be spent on the shop floor Primarily manual and visual inspections; a laptop may or may not be issued
