Job Summary:
As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our restaurants. If you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply.
Duties/Responsibilities: Table Maintenance: Clearing and resetting tables promptly and efficiently to provide a clean and welcoming dining area for our guests. Dishwashing: Assisting in dishwashing duties, including sorting, stacking, and ensuring clean dishes, glassware, and utensils are readily available for use. Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including floors, counters, and equipment. Regularly sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety standards. Assistance to Servers: Collaborating with the serving staff to deliver exceptional service by providing support as needed, such as refilling beverages and delivering food orders. Teamwork: Cooperating with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations. Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to fulfill guest needs. Guest Interaction: Offering friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to inquiries, and assisting with any special requests they may have. Knowledge of Menu: Developing a good understanding of the menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information and make appropriate recommendations to guests. Stocking: Assisting in stocking supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, to ensure availability during service hours. Support for Other Roles: Assisting other team members, including servers and hosts, when necessary to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Following company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, assisting and supporting colleagues as needed. Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays. Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS - Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity Education and Experience:
Must be at least sixteen years old. Previous Experience: Prior experience as a Busser or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals. Physical Requirements:
Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying trays, and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds. Benefits & Perks:
