Position Summary
The Parts Clerks does data entry in accordance with inventory and planning for all departments. Assist with managing equipment, parts inventory and activities, which fall within assigned goods/product groups. Coordinate inventory levels, expedite / prioritize safety stock positions and disposition of materials through the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Assist Maintenance Planner with data entry of work orders, parts needed, and scheduling input to keep an accurate history. Also, assist with accurate input of histories and keeping updated counts to ensure accurate planning and coordinating.
Essential Job Functions Coordinates the movement of purchased materials. Compares shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered. Assists in comparing invoices against purchase orders, shipping, and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered. Communicates all delays or variances of inbound freight to the appropriate parties. Identifies discrepancies between shipments and orders and notifies appropriate parties. Counts cycles of Maintenance, Repair, Operation (MRO) items, reconciliation & receiving. Enters receipts of received goods into EAM system. Enters inventory, part location and/or cycle counts into EAM system. Enters parts history and maintenance work history into EAM system. Assists maintenance employees with locating the correct items in the parts cage. Coordinates with Maintenance Planner Scheduler/Supervisor in keeping track and informing the quantity of high priority parts daily. Maintains coverage of the parts cage at all times based on shift. Oversees and records all ins and outs from parts cage. Assists in answering the phone on the night shift. Education/Training

High School Diploma Experience/Knowledge/Abilities
Required:
Advanced computer skills with high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Freight software familiarity Excellent customer, organizational and communication skills Ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision Strong diplomatic, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS.) Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Efficiency in alpha-numeric data entry Preferred:
Bi-lingual English / Spanish ability Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Slip resistant footwear Apron or smock or uniform Company supplied gloves Hairnet/beard net Ear, eye, and head protection gear
